This is actually a pretty useful problem to solve. Xcode builds, simulators, Docker and old dependencies can eat up storage surprisingly fast.
I particularly like the focus on safe cleanup rather than just deleting everything.
The node_modules and Docker pile-up is painfully familiar. I like that cleanup checks git activity before deleting anything, because that's the part I'd be nervous about doing by hand.
The hook is spot on. “Your drive is full because you're a developer” hits home immediately for anyone drowning in Docker caches and Xcode junk.
